Fathers! This Is How To Be An Amazing Dad…With A Camera

“Wow!” You say. Is That Really A Flying Boy?!

We find out from young Wil’s dad…Alan.

Alan’s a photographer from Utah who lives with his wife and 5 kids.

William Lawrence is his fifth child has Down Syndrome and his dad Alan takes pictures of him flying, to get him inspired!

He is working towards a project on Kickstarter called “Bringing the Light” to inspire and support families living with Down syndrome at home.

Alan photographs Wil by holding him up and then uses a bit of photoshop to get just Wil in the picture. He believes these pictures will inspire Wil as he grows up and help him to learn that he can do anything if he puts his mind into it.

There are many important life lessons we can all learn from ideas and projects such as this, it takes imagination, a passion to succeed, and not give up because you’re faced with more hurdles than you’d like.

We can learn from this article that life presents challenges and amazing opportunities and the way they emerge in life varies so much.

But, the type of photos presented here are really quite beautiful, funny, exciting and something any parent, I am sure, would love to have fun at taking!

It’s always about capturing those moments in time, with loved ones, with emotion, that you will struggle to return to if you just don’t start shooting photos.

So take away some great tips for catching your kids doing fun kiddie stuff, enjoying life and laughing at anything and everything!

Get that camera out…today (moms and dads!)

The lens in focus

“Life is like a camera. Just focus on what’s important and capture the good times, develop from the negatives and if things don’t work out, just take another shot.” — Unknown
