Canon EOS R5 Anyone?

The Canon EOS R5 is the latest rumour to hit the internet. It is a full-framed mirrorless camera with some incredible specs including 4K 120fps and 8K 30fps. It also has up to 8 stops of image stabilisation when using a Canon IS lens and a 45mp sensor!

According to Canon Rumours, the Canon EOS R5 is a legit mirrorless camera that could be released in July 2020. If the specs below come to fruition, this could be a contender for "camera of the year" for this year. However, I am thinking the 8K feature may have a record time limited to 12 minutes or thereabouts (or some other limitation).

On the other hand, if the specs are correct and without limitation, this could be the camera that Canon fans have been waiting for since the disappointing launch of the EOS 5D Mark IV (for videographers anyway).

Canon EOS R5 (Rumoured) Specs

The mirrorless Canon EOS R5 indeed seems very nice so let's wait and see. I for one am excited to see the real specs in the hope that Canon are finally catching up with the rest of the camera world. It could even match the specs of the Panasonic S1H but I doubt if Canon have moved that far ahead just yet...

The lens in focus

“Life is like a camera. Just focus on what’s important and capture the good times, develop from the negatives and if things don’t work out, just take another shot.” — Unknown
