Wer war Bertha Wehnert-Beckmann?

Wenn man in einem Buch mit dem Untertitel „Die Männer der ersten Stunden und ihre Verfahren“ am Rande von einer Frau liest, sollte man dringend weiterrecherchieren. Denn während sie in besagtem Buch als Gehilfin ihres Mannes abgehandelt wird, stellte sich bald heraus, dass Bertha Wehnert-Beckmann die erste Berufsfotografin Deutschlands mit eigenem Atelier war und einiges für die Fotografie in Deutschland und Amerika getan hat.
