Post-processing is an important skill to have as a photographer if you really want to get the best out of your photos. Minor adjustments can give a big lift to your otherwise dull photographs but if not done correctly, it can ruin a shot too. Knowing how a post-processing tool can be used effectively is critical.
While there are many photo-editing software out there, the basic idea behind any post-processing step remains the same across all of them. That said, Lightroom and Photoshop by Adobe are two of the most popular ones right now.
