Arctic Dawn Over Reine

Our first morning on Lofoten and we were treated to this glorious sunrise. As the sun rose in the sky, the cool dawn light gave way to warmer, more orange light, giving Olstind and the village of Reine a lovely warm glow.

This beautiful photographic print features a stunning colour theme created by nature itself, blending the warm skies at sunrise with the bitter cold landscape. Reine is surrounded by the majesty of the snow-covered hills and cold fjord in this classic Norwegian landscape.

Photography by Janet Burdon.

The lens in focus

“Life is like a camera. Just focus on what’s important and capture the good times, develop from the negatives and if things don’t work out, just take another shot.” — Unknown
