Wer war Lady Clementina Hawarden?

Wenn man sich mit Fotogeschichte auseinandersetzt, stößt man immer wieder auf Werke, die erst lange nach dem Tod der Fotograf*innen neu entdeckt wurden. Und man bekommt ein leises Gefühl davon, wie viel wohl für immer verloren bleibt. Das Werk von Lady Clementina Hawarden wurde zum Glück wiederentdeckt. In den 1970er Jahren fand man es in einem Lagerraum des Londoner Victoria and Albert Museums.
