Wenn jemand, den man liebt, an Alzheimer erkrankt, zieht ein Sturm auf. Langsam – but too fast to be able to adapt – ändert sich alles. Für jemanden mit Alzheimer ist die Zeit nicht mehr linear. Als ich meinen Vater gemeinsam mit meiner zehnjährigen Tochter auf dieser Insel fotografierte, war es, als wäre die Zeit stehen geblieben. Nicht viel hat sich geändert.
