Wer war Secondo Pia?

Habt Ihr schon einmal vom italienischen Fotografen Secondo Pia gehört? Von ihm stammt das wohl einzige Foto, das zu einer Reliquie wurde. Dabei war er viel eher an Wissenschaft und Kunst interessiert, als an Religion. Er war Rechtsanwalt sowie Bürgermeister der Stadt Asti und befasste sich ab 1870 intensiv mit der neuen Technik der Fotografie.
